These days I feel like I'm suspended in time and space, unable to focus on much more than the day that is unfolding around me. Nothing in the recent past seems real, and the future appears uncertain in many ways. I feel most comfortable doing one day at a time right now. Living in the moment, I guess you'd say. Not because that's the healthiest thing to do, but because it's really all I can do.

Making work is, for me, the epitome of immersing myself in the hours of a day. It brings me comfort. And a sense of actually getting something done, something I feel good about. So this week I'm simply going to share more of the new color work I've been doing. These pieces will be on view at my upcoming Open Studio the first weekend in December. (On second thought, maybe I'm looking forward more than I give myself credit for.)
