Making art is just one of many ways to navigate grief.
This suite of photographs and acrylic paintings is dedicated to Eddie, my biggest cheerleader. I have searched for - and felt - his presence in surprising places while making new work since his death in October.
These pieces come from a place of deep connection to him.
Among many other things, Eddie was a community volunteer extraordinaire. He had just completed his training to become a CASA for children (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and had already met the two young boys with whom he was to work. He was terribly disappointed that Acute Myeloid Leukemia got in the way of helping them.
I'd like to be his cheerleader now and continue his commitment to this cause. I've made 10" x 10" signed prints of these images and am offering each for $200 plus shipping. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to CASA in Eddie's memory. If you're interested or would like more information, please send me an email.
Thank you so much.
