This past week I stayed in Praiano, a town on the Amalfi Coast. I made a lot of photographs, including many street photos. Continuing to make pictures in this genre makes me very happy!
I also made a suite of still lifes set against the sea or a white wall. I didn't intend to do them... they just organically unfolded and evolved. I tend to let photography take me wherever it feels I need to go. In doing so this time around, I rediscovered simplicity and beauty. And it felt good to let both those things into my heart.
If I have time to print the flowers when I return home, I plan to make them available at my Open Studio in early June.
